sulfur smell

I thought i would have a pleasant stay, but the sulfur smell from the geo-thermal water was unbearable, and i actually expected complimentary snacks upon arrival-guess i was wrong. Good luck getting anything from the honor bar, as it was all locked up. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't deal with these inconveniences.

Lovely small and modern hotel, just what we had in mind.

the breakfast was varied and good with delicious warm bread and had good choice of food. location: the hotel was close enough to west coast of iceland, the great restaurant nearby and the centre of town. also, it took us 10 minutes to reach seal center on foot.

Cozy, basic rooms with comfortable beds, made for a good night's sleep.

The room lacked basic amenities like tea and coffee facilities and a TV. The geothermal water in the shower had a strong sulfur smell that took some adjusting to.

The guesthouse offered a charming atmosphere with very clean and comfortable rooms. Access to a lovely lounge area was convenient, and the complimentary breakfast had a good variety. Although checkout was a bit late, the solitude and lovely views made up for it.
